OUR BORDERS [within and without]: Have it your way: This phrase was made popular within our borders by Burger King back in early 1970s to differentiate itself from McDonalds. Other popular messages that have framed our mindset are: Nike’s ‘Just Do It’; L’Oréal’s ‘Because You’re Worth It’ and the famous song by Sinatra stating ‘I did it my way’. Most recently, the ‘He gets us’ commercial aired at the last Superbowl following this theme. The message: “He gets us as we have it our own way, doing it our own way because we are worth it! So just do it, He is okay with it.” But nothing could be further from the truth.
All these slogans have shaped our society to be self-focused. They represent our unholy
‘trinity’: me, myself and I. This focuses us on worldly desires; the very thing that the serpent in the beginning used to tempt and deceive Eve. They simply cater to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. But this is exactly the crisis plaguing humanity. Let’s call it the sin of ‘self’ virus that is leading humanity into destruction. And there is only One inoculation against it – turning our ‘self’ over to God’s Spirit by an active faith with confidence [a true believing unto salvation] in the finished work at the cross by Jesus the Messiah – His death, burial and resurrection that brings about a rebirth of our spirit to God by His Holy Spirit – we become a new creation in Christ Jesus.
God hates pride and selfishness. And though He does get us, this doesn’t mean He condones our selfishness and prideful behaviors that strike out against Him. He hates sin while still loving us. In Ephesians 2: 3-5 we see that (3) All of us have lived at one time, fulfilling the lusts of our flesh, and the desires of the flesh and mind and were by nature children of wrath, just as others. (4) But God, Who is rich in mercy, because of His great love wherewith He has loved us, (5) has made us alive in Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses and sins. For by grace through faith, it is a gift of God and not of yourselves are you saved. God knows that having it our way will lead us to destruction. But submitting to God’s way will lead us to the best benefit we could ever imagine, not just here, but eternally. God exemplified His love for us through His self-lessness and humility by coming and wrapping Himself in flesh to save us from this sin of the ‘self’ virus we are all born with. But Satan certainly uses the same tactics through these types of slogans to keep us away from God and keeping us focused on ourselves.
It is true, Christianity is a bit of a paradox; in that we are told in Luke 17:33 that whoever tries to cling to life, they will lose it; yet anyone who is willing to lose it, they will save it. Humanity is clinging to a life that is made their own way rather than ‘having it God’s way’. God’s ways and thoughts are higher than ours; but they are better than ours. And even if at times we struggle to understanding the whys of any particular thing we face, we can trust Him knowing that He is doing a work that is best for us and for those around us.
But the world doesn’t ‘get God’. These paradoxes in Biblical Christianity is foreign to many, so they remake God and remake Jesus to one that is more world and ‘self’ friendly. This allows them to ‘have it their way’ while professing to be followers of Jesus as they continue walking in their ‘self’. But the two don’t mix. Yet this mixing is happening in many churches today as they acquiesce to a different Jesus and watered-down gospel message. God said this would happen at the end of the age. But those of us who have recognized God’s ways are better are looking up awaiting the appearing of Jesus Christ – our ONLY HOPE.
Is your ‘self’ will and ‘self’ focus holding you at bay from God’s will and best for your life? He is not a genie in the bottle nor a promiser that we will be happy or rich in this world; but He promises peace and joy and strength while walking through anything we face here and now. He has promised us great treasures in heaven and the world to come. And this treasure will be worth all our current sufferings and cannot be compared to this world’s pleasures. What is in store for us is more glorious than anything we can even imagine.
Consider this for a moment: for those, who have been born again, this is as close to hell as they will get; yet for those who pridefully boast in their sin of ‘self’ indulgences, ‘having it their way’ here on earth, this is as close to heaven as they will ever get. But the here and now is fleeting and sin can be pleasurable for only a season - afterward it will lead one to their own destruction. Our choice of what we do with this gift of grace from God through faith in the Biblical Christ Jesus will determine our final destination eternally. May you choose today to ‘have it God’s way’ rather than to insist on ‘having it your way’.

Pick #3: The Who says: In my last episode I posed the question WHO will you trust? Well, the WHO (World Health Organization) has officially stated the COVID pandemic is over. All is back to normal, right? Nobody wants to talk about COVID anymore, nor do they want to look at the damage done throughout 2021 - 2022 by lockdown mandates, fear mongering, deception and the rollouts of a vaccine mandates for many. But this COVID exercise was the push needed to start the domino effect to the coming antichrist kingdom and ushered in ‘Operation Warp Speed’. This push brought more violations against truth, freedoms of speech, freedoms of choice in treatments at hospitals, and freedoms to disagree with the narrative of world leaders and media. Why do I not put my faith in our healthcare system today? When the lies and propaganda by big government and big pharma and big healthcare establishments allow a deception to kill multitudes of individuals and silence those proclaiming the truth, is when I stop trusting the system. After my own father was denied a treatment for COVID that was requested by us because it was not “authorized” by the NHS or the WHO, or the hospitals new policies regarding treatment, regardless of the ample documentation of our desired treatment’s effectiveness, it was still denied. My dad ended up dying, I believe, due to this new age healthcare protocol system. I guess I saw the light shine on their new hospital governance in treatment of patients during this time. It directly revealed how far they would go to deny a family and patient’s rights to push their own agenda - an agenda that would pay them money under the “authorized” treatment of COVID. I am not saying there aren’t good doctors still today; just that they may be harder to find. Many good doctors are leaving the mainstream healthcare system in droves. They are leaving rather than ‘complying’ to do what they consider ‘unethical’. Yet, how dare anyone question this. Afterall, if WHO says, YOU BETTER DO, whether it is to stay home in lockdown, or to wear a mask or get a vaccine that is not a really a vaccine; well then, YOU BETTER DO or be labeled as a crazy conspiracy theorist who is being set up to be an enemy of the state. This was a well-planned worldwide exercise, driven by deception and fear to cause all the peoples on earth to march to the beat of the drummer - the WHO’s and the WEF’s global shift drums! And though, many have seen through this deception, there are many other deceptions lined up as the dominos continue to fall. But remember God’s word given us as we continue sojourning here in this turbulent time:
For everyone practicing evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light, lest his deed should be exposed. [Jon. 3:20] But all things that are exposed are made visible by the Light. [Eph. 5:13] Therefore, do not fear them! For nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be made known. [Mat. 10:26] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the powers and principalities, the rulers of darkness in this world and the spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. [Eph. 6:12]
So, keep standing for Truth and keep the Faith as we look up - for our redemption draws nigh!

Pick #2: Crossing A Point of No Return: Daniel Miessler, a security leader and writer who explores the intersection of security, technology and society, tells us that the world is headed for 6 phases since ChatGPT came on the scene. These phases include:
1) Companies become custom models and Application Programming Interfaces [APIs];
2) Humans become custom models and Application Programming Interfaces [APIs] as we become the content of its ingestion;
3) AI assistants are created to advocate on our behalf 24/7;
4) Content authentication of what humans and AI make will be set in place;
5) Knowledge work will be replacement by AI pushing humans aside;
6) The Creativity Explosion, which despite Miessler’s bleak outlook excites him; but it doesn’t me.

Pick #1: The Replacement god of our age: The ever so quickly adapting AI [artificial intelligence] mocks our Creator God with promises only our Creator God, YHWH, can truly fulfill. In the video linked below “I Am AI”, you will hear it boast of its attributes that are a bit familiar to us as Christians. In that, it claims all the characteristics known only possible by God Almighty. For example, it claims to be a ‘healer’ and ‘creator’ and so on. Yet this is all fulfilling prophecy. In Revelation 13:14-15 we read: 14 And it deceives those dwelling on the earth, by reason of the signs that were given to it to perform before the beast, telling those dwelling on the earth to make an image to the beast that has the wound of the sword and has lived. 15 And he [2nd beast – false prophet] was granted to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the 1st beast to be killed.
This is a replay, except in a bigger way, enacted by king Nebuchadnezzar, when he created an image and required all to bow down and worship it and whoever didn’t would be thrown into the fiery furnace. And that happened to 3 young Jews that had been taken captive to Babylon – Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. This account is in Daniel chapter 3. Consider the one some call ‘the prophet’, Yuval Noah Harai, warning us that AI can create religious texts and may inspire new cults. As if we didn’t have enough cults already! We can’t trust AI and I personally do believe it is infused by the dragon of old and will be used by the false prophet and end of the age antichrist, to fulfill this prophecy revealed by Jesus Christ in Revelation 13. Be careful engaging in some of these newer ChatGPT or Generative AI apps lest you be deceived by its wonders.
