OUR BORDERS [within and without]:

Suddenly:  As people watch the world’s stage with the geopolitical shifts, the tariff wars, the rise of global financial systems being established, the revealing of technologies that are likened to those of yesteryear's science fiction, there is an event coming upon the whole world that will take place ‘suddenly’. Many will be caught off guard. Will you?

Synonyms to ‘suddenly’ could be without warning, quickly and abruptly, at once, immediately, in a twinkle of an eye. I like the phrases ‘out of the blue’ and ‘just like that’. Indeed, it will happen just like that, as a flash. So fast will it be that it is likened to a twinkle in the eye, not a blink, a twinkle. I call it a nanosecond.

How many events have ‘suddenly’, just like that, shaken your life? An illness, perhaps? The death of a loved one unexpectedly? Think about past events that have ‘suddenly’ come and gone, yet have reshaped our world and lives today. Here are just a few:

• The World Trade Center Attack on September 11, 2001 

• The catastrophic earthquake in Haiti on January 12, 2010, known for causing the highest number of deaths from disasters in the past two decades at that time.

• The COVID-19 outbreak that began in 2019. 

• Natural Disasters That Shocked the World in 2024, such as:

  • The Noto earthquake hit western Japan on New Year’s Day 2024.

  • On October 29th, severe rain causing flash floods in Valencia, Spain.

  • A garbage landslide in Uganda forcing thousands to evacuate with just their lives.

  • Hurricane Helene striking on September 26th, becoming one of the deadliest since Katrina.

  • The 2024 California wildfires exceeding the five-year average, with Maui's destructive fire occurring just the year before on August 18, 2023.

Consider historical biblical events that occurred ‘suddenly.’ The flood, for instance, erupted as rain fell heavily from the sky and water gushed from the ground after Noah spent years building the ark, enduring mockery. But there was no mocking on that fateful day when the Lord sealed the ark with Noah and his family inside. Likewise, Sodom and Gomorrah faced destruction ‘suddenly’, with angels urgently pulling Lot and his family to safety before fire and brimstone rained down, leaving complete destruction.

How many were prepared and ready when these events ‘suddenly’ fell upon them? I venture to say only Noah, while building the ark, may have had some knowledge, but even he didn’t know the exact day or hour he’d be shut in. We serve a God who has foretold us beforehand things that will happen to prepare us, not to scare us. Over 80% of Bible prophecy has been fulfilled, and I will say with confidence that we are seeing the remaining 20% being fulfilled and forming in our time, in real time.

The ’suddenly’ event I am referring to is not that of an impending World War III, which could happen; nor the next pandemic, which most certainly will occur; nor the latest AI breakthroughs. I am talking about the event sandwiched between the 1st Coming of Jesus Christ and the Day of YAHWEH, leading up to the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ – the “WHOOSH”!

FOR INDEED, SUDDENLY, (16) the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God [not a trumpet of an angel]. And the dead in Christ will rise first. (17) Then we, who are alive and remain, will be caught away together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and thus, we will be always with the Lord. (18) Therefore, encourage [comfort] one another with these words. [1 Thessalonians 4:16-18]

So, why is it many don’t appear to be encouraged or comforted by this passage? Why do many want to refute what is happening around us and say with a mocking smile and a wave of their hand, “Ahh, they have been saying that forever. But where is this promise of His coming? Every generation seems to believe that, but things are just the same as the last generation and time marches on.” Some say that “God might just hit the reset button to prevent it all from happening.” My paraphrase and commentary to 2 Peter 3:3-4. [Read in full context here: 2 Peter 3:1-8] I hear these types of comments from believers, not unbelievers, which grieves me. Why? Because God is going to hit the reset button, not to prevent it all, but to fulfill it all!

Recently, Christians celebrated the biggest central prophetic fulfillment of Scripture, bar none – that of the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Word of God made flesh, Who at His 1st Coming, came in humility as a servant to be our once and for all atonement, to reconcile us to God – to Himself. Look what Paul wrote through the Holy Spirit of God:

(51) Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep [die a physical bodily death], but we shall all be changed—  (52) in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (54) So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” (55) “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” [1 Corinthians 15:51-52] Note: What trumpet? 1 Thessalonians answers that – the last trumpet of God, not that of an angel.

This is our Blessed Hope – we will be resurrected with new, glorious bodies like His. On this celebrated pivotal event in history, so long ago, Jesus crushed the serpent's head and declared, “It is finished.” Paul shared this mystery with us, highlighting its significance.

Last Enemy Destroyed: (20) But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. (21) For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a Man. (22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. (23) But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. (24) Then comes the end, when He [Jesus] delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He [God the Father] puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. (25) For He [Christ] must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. (26) The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. (27) For He [the Father] has put all things under His [Christ’s] feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him [in subjection under Christ],” it is evident that He [Himself] is expected Who shall put all things under Him [Christ]. (28) Now, when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him [the Father] Who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all. [1 Corinthians 15:20-28]

This passage indicates an order to the resurrection and emphasizes that while Jesus proclaimed it is finished, God is actively fulfilling His plan by placing all things under Jesus’ authority. The born-again believer, the ekklesia (church), are already in the Kingdom of God, awaiting this sudden event, followed by the final testing that will come upon the world.

I tell you with confidence, Jesus is greatly anticipating this ‘suddenly’ event just as much as I am. Those who aren’t longing for this day, I fear, are still clinging to this temporary world, this earthly plane. Yes, I understand the conflict of having loved ones who are not yet saved. But take heart in knowing God knows exactly what He is doing. Many will come to salvation through this testing – the seven-year final tribulation before the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ. I trust God and His sovereignty with my loved ones, my friends, and anyone in this world that will not be ready, knowing that it may be this ‘suddenly’ that will move them to receive the great gift of salvation in Jesus, as we already have. Yet I still actively pray that today will be their day of salvation.

Let us walk, therefore, diligently proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, planting the seed of the Word in the hearts of those we love and are around us, while we also look up in great anticipation for the Whoosh! Too Numerous To Count: There is simply too much happening to keep up with all the news and events around us today. However, this I know, the United States is not the epicenter of Bible prophecy – Israel is. With all my heart, I truly believe we are the final generation that is seeing the remaining 20% of biblical prophecy converging with swiftness. Some of these include, but are not limited to:

1. Mocking of Bible prophecy and the Lord’s Return [2 Peter 3] – Happening now and will increase as we march rapidly to the culmination of the end of this age.

2. Alliance of Russia, Iran, and Turkey forming that will invade Israel [Ezekiel 38-39] – The meetings between these countries are increasing of late, and we see the alliance of these nations being set into place as prophesied.

3. Intoxicating obsession to divide Jerusalem [Zechariah 12:1-3] – Happening now and will be intensifying.

4. Increase of wickedness as in the Days of Noah [Genesis 6:5; Luke 17:26-29] – Happening now and will increase.

5. Increase of lawlessness [2 Thessalonians 2:7] – Happening now and will increase.

6. The forming of a one world religion, government, and economic system [Revelation 13, 17-18] – Happening now and will continue to be set into motion at a rapid pace.

7. Worshipping the created rather than the Creator [Romans 1:22-25] – Happening now, and the worship of self and things created will increase as they are deceived and being deceived.

The Dimming: Bill Gates has been chomping at the bit to dim the sun. Four years ago, Tucker Carlson reacted to his ‘dim the sun’ project; today, it appears the UK is on board with Gates’ ideology. Then there are all those streaks we continually see in our skies as they alter our atmosphere with chemicals, geoengineering at the core. All in the name of their ‘Climate Change’ agenda that they are creating themselves. Coincidence? I think not… God said, “Who gives the sun for light by day? Who sets in order the moon and stars for light by night? Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar? Yahweh of the Hosts is His name. Yahweh said, “Only if this fixed order departed from My presence, would Israel’s descendants ever cease to be a nation before Me.” God’s enemy, Satan, is hard at work trying to get men who think they are wise, but truly are fools, to reorder and alter that which God has created.
