OUR BORDERS [within and without]: A World Leaving Truth Behind: Welcome to 2023 everybody! I will, I suppose, highlight some events that took place in 2022 that I am watching and continue to watch. For indeed, it appears the general populous continues with much contentment, to leave Truth behind and welcome the lies and deceptions surrounding us in these ‘last of the last days’. I predict we will see this trend continue in 2023.
For this reason, I am making a ‘clarion’ call to invest more time seeking the Truth rather than being overwhelmed and overly distracted with the numerous world news events that I believe are meant to distract us and/or to create fear. Not that we shouldn’t watch; but we, I believe, should give equal time seeking the Truth that is only contained in one place – the Word of God. God Himself left us His love letter that we may learn of Him, to learn our purpose in Him, to acknowledge our own sinful nature and turn to His redemption through Jesus Christ – THE promised seed of the woman in Genesis 3:15. This was the first prophecy given to us in scripture. This came right after the disobedience of our first human parents – Adam and Eve. Everything thereafter, points us to Jesus – His redemption, His Resurrection, His Return. Do you know Him?
God says through Isaiah 5:13 that His people have gone into captivity because they have no knowledge. Their honorable men are famished and their multitudes dried up with thirst. And in Hosea 4:1 & 6 God tells us 1Hear the Word of the LORD, ye children of Israel. For the LORD has a controversy [a charge] with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. God continues saying, (6) “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge because they have rejected knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me, because you have forgotten the law.” Though this was a charge God gave to Israel, I believe we are equally guilty for rejecting Truth. In 2 Timothy 4 we are also told in verse 3 & 4: (3) The time will come when men will not tolerate sound teaching, but with itching ears will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. (4)They will turn away from hearing the truth and will be turned aside to myths [fables]. Knowledge is only head knowledge until it is activated or infused in our hearts and minds – in our inner man or our inner being – infused with His Truth, His Way and His Life.
God has told us about Himself and about His Creation and about His extreme love for His Creation which is wonderfully put forth in the most supernaturally inspired and written book we know as the Bible. Not only is the Bible supernatural, it is historically accurate, prophetically accurate and significant with over 80% already fulfilled. It answers our important questions. The Who, the Why, the What and the Where we are going questions. And though it is a consistent #1 seller, it is also a consistent #1 dust collector or table decorator.
This is not surprising when we understand God’s enemy has successfully made us so busy and has offered so many other enticing distractions that keep us away from it. Frankly, before I began combing through the pages myself, I had found it a bit boring and sometimes hard to understand. Plus, having been raised in a Christian home with a pastor/teacher as a dad, I pridefully felt I knew enough of what was contained in this book. I was wrong. It isn’t so much the physical book and the ink on the page, but the Spirit of God that infuses these Words in us and renews our minds with it. After all, in John 1:1 we know that Jesus in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He – the Word of God/Jesus – eternally existed before He came and wrapped Himself in human flesh to redeem us.
True Christianity is for the critical thinker that can discern Truth from the deceptions among the many false prophets, teachers and pastors in American pulpits today. Men will have religion in one form or another, I have heard it said. Men also are content to follow after traditions. Religion is, however, men trying to reach God through various means or men feeling safe and comfortable through their own traditions. True biblical Christianity, on the other hand, is God reaching out to us and saving us through His gift of salvation through grace in Jesus Christ alone. God saves us – He saves us from ourselves. He is personal, He is invincible, He was, He is and He always will be. Do you know HIM?
My prayer for you is that this will be the year – year 2023 – that you are inspired by God’s Spirit to open the most important book and read it. Mark it up! Ask God to enlighten your eyes of understanding and give you wisdom and understanding on what you are reading. Chew it and digest it – it is God’s communication to us. It is the Bread of Life. It will challenge your mind and renew it at the same time. And when completed, start all over again and you will continue to find more depths therein. So, before I jump into my Top Picks of events that took place in 2022, I am praying you will jump into God’s Word. Start anywhere. You could start in the book of John or jump right into Hebrews.
Take the Hebrews Challenge: Do you know HIM? Jesus? The real Jesus – the Supremacy of Jesus Christ. He is the Author and Finisher of our Faith. How do we build faith? Faith comes by hearing and reading the Word of God. Get to know the real Jesus, for we live in a world where many have reinvented who Jesus is. But indeed, Jesus is our Great God of Salvation who created all things and holds all things together. There are 13 chapters in Hebrews so feel free to read ahead. When you are able, open up your bible don’t be afraid to make notes or highlight it with color pencils. I also use little sticky tags to mark certain places. Ask God to reveal His Truth to you. My top 3 ‘Am Watching’ picks of 2022:
Certainly, 2022, seems to have created even more division, distractions and chaos as we have been experiencing since 2020. Some highlights of the year included stories on COVID-19 having entered its 3rd year of a pandemic; the Russian invasion of Ukraine; the highest level of inflation we have had in decades; the overturning of Roe v. Wade from the Supreme Court and more. It has been difficult to keep up with all the news, but I want to highlight my top 3 picks for 2022.
Pick #3: Money talks, right? And as we watch the beast system being set-up, the new money coming is not the ‘crypto’ currency such as Bitcoin, but that of the Central Bank Digital Currency [CBDC] using ‘blockchain’ technologies. Seems there has been a race towards CBDC digital currency in 2022. This CBDC will be able to track with an almost perfect record everything we buy. It is not private like the ‘crypto’ currencies that I believe will be destroyed by the ‘superpowers’ as they press forward to introduce and control all digital currency. Pick #2: Britain had several big events that caught my attention in 2022. The first was the strikingly ‘satanic’ and dark ‘Baal’ like worship overtones at the Commonwealth’s Games opening ceremony. Evil and darkness no longer hide in the shadows but are paraded blatantly in our world today. Not just in this event but in many around the world. The second, big event in Britain that has impacted the world, was saying good-bye to the longest-serving British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, who died at the age of 96. It was no surprise that her eldest son, Charles, was appointed King and will be officially known as King Charles III, who is currently 73 years of age – the oldest person to become King in British history. Interestingly, just the year prior, the now King Charles, gave a speech at the 2021 G20 Summit’s UN Climate Conference (COP26) stating that “We need a vast military style campaign to marshal the strength of the global private sector, with trillions at his disposal.” This brought many comments on who he was referring to when saying, “at his disposal.” Many of us believe there is a person hiding in the shadows and that this invisible individual will not be revealed until the rapture [whoosh] of the church as prophesied in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 [‘Let no man deceive you by any means. For that day shall not come, except there be the departure [falling away] first, and then the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition’]. Unfortunately, this verse has been mistranslated in many ways to mean ‘rebellion’ or ‘falling away from faith’ bringing inaccurate interpretations to it. Nonetheless, whether Charles had a slip of a tongue or not, I don’t know. But he is now King Charles and is marching towards the one world government agenda. Pick #1: My top pic is the continued rise of anti ‘Christ’ rhetoric and the heralding in of the 4th Industrial Revolution [also known as the Great Reset] through the World Economic Forum (WEF) and their Rush to Global Government through their ‘sustainability’ plans. These plans are AI generated by the way. We also started hearing more from Klaus Schwab’s top advisor – Yuval Noah Harari on humankind and transhumanism in 2022. Harari is credited with being the author a bestselling book entitled “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind’. He is famous for stating ‘humans are hackable’ and ‘science is about to replace natural selection with intelligent design’ (speaking of transhumanism). Hate to burst his bubble, but we have an Intelligent Designer named “YHWH” [Yahweh] – God. It is scary to me that Harari, who embraces the theory of evolution and natural selection, is also considered the ‘prophet’ among the world’s ruling class. I wouldn’t say that he is or isn’t’ the false prophet God forewarned us about in Revelation 13. He is however, as is Pope Francis, certainly applying for that position. On the surface, the World Economic Forum and their Agenda 2030 appears concerned about global health, inclusivity and equalizing wealth as well as saving the planet. Yet they do not hide their other agenda of how they plan it with population control, transhumanism [hacking human genes and linking to AI] and global ‘blockchain’ digital currency. They will continue marching on, but don’t be deceived. They are fools thinking themselves to be wise in their own eyes and have pushed God out for their consciousness desiring to be god through technology – AI – and they won’t spoil the oil or the wine for them but those, my friends, not in Christ Jesus, will become their slaves. But God will and already has the final word and He will fulfil it. Revelation 13 11 Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. This beast had two horns like a lamb, but spoke like a dragon. 12 And this beast exercised all the authority of the first beast and caused the earth and those who dwell on it to worship the first beast, whose mortal wound had been healed. 13 And the second beast performed great signs to cause even fire from heaven to come down to the earth in the presence of the people. 14 Because of the signs it was given to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived those who dwell on the earth…”
We also saw the following in 2022: the rise of a one world religion that worship’s Mother Earth [worship of the created rather than the Creator]; continued division and decline of North America being run by a ‘shadow government’ rather than a president; more attacks on Jews and more persecution and silencing of true bible believing Christians.
Coincidence? I Think NOT...
So, is it a coincidence all these things are happening in our world today? I think NOT! God gave us prophecy to study so that we who are in Christ will not be taken unawares of the time or season we are living in. No, I am not a date setter nor a prophet, just a diligent student of God’s Word including that of the Prophetic nature. Keep looking up if you are in Christ, for our redemption draws nigh and is closer than ever.
