The Foolishness of it all!
Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe, the writer and learned among the people? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? Can a blind man lead a blind man? Do they not both fall into a pit? [1 Corinthians 1:10 and Luke 6:39]
Today within our border and without we have an abundance of news from A to Z. So much folly! Many of these events cause me to shake my head at the foolishness of it all. Why? Because it is clear to me that there is no true leader. None in this nation or those around the world that will be able to save the world and mankind from itself.
In just this month’s news feed alone, we heard of the death of Iran’s President that seems to be causing more blame towards Israel; and at the same time, this news was being celebrated by many Iranians within. War crime warrants were issued to both Netanyahu and the Hamas leader as we read of Jewish children savagely beaten by a man in New York City! We have blind Biden’s decision to deny military aid to Israel; while in a recent summit, we read that Xi and Putin most likely discussed their lingering problem – the United States that I continue to call the Divided States. Then we have Turkey’s president feeling that they are next on Israel’s hit list and Egypt also joins the nations of the world in their criticism against Israel’s Rafah Operation.
The foolishness of it all! One can’t keep up. And all are symptomatic of the Biblically Prophetic times we are living in. And yes, these articles will be linked below for further digestion should you desire to read more.
I am even more perplexed, or maybe grieved is a better word, at the many pastors and teachers that continue to ignore prophecy or are blatantly acquiescing to the ways of the world rather than to the God of the Bible they claim to believe. This too is fulfilling Bible prophecy. To them I say, “Who has bewitched you?”
Jeremiah 4:22 “For My people are foolish. They know Me not. They are foolish children. They have no understanding. They are ‘wise’ in doing evil but in knowing how to do good, they know not.”
Isaiah 32:6 For the fool speaks folly and his heart is busy with iniquity, practicing ungodliness, uttering error concerning the LORD [Yahweh], leaving the craving of the hungry unsatisfied and depriving the thirsty of drink.
This is not referencing just physical needs, but more specifically the spiritual food and drink from the Bread of Life and the Living Water of Scripture needing to be taught aright. Yet too many are using fluff and snippets from the scripture that do nothing for true spiritual growth nor for quenching the thirst of hearts and souls. And therefore, we see hardening of hearts and deadened souls as the love of many grows cold. There is a hunger and thirst for the truth, but many are unwilling to give it as they are more worried about pleasing men than pleasing God Almighty.
Zechariah 10:2 For the idols speak delusions. The diviners envision lies and tell false dreams. They comfort in vain. Therefore, the people wander like sheep that are in trouble because there is no shepherd [pastor].
A. W. Tozer put it rightly when he said, “Christianity today is man-centered, not God-centered.…The image of God currently popular is that of a distracted Father, struggling in heartbroken desperation to get people to accept a Savior of whom they feel no need and in whom they have very little interest.”
The foolishness of it all, again I say! Does it sound like I am on a rant? Yes, yes I am. And rightfully so. Our world is sinking and people are perishing, many of whom are going to their eternal destination without Christ Jesus as their savior. It’s not about this life or this nation or this world. It is about our eternal destination that is appointed to each one of us to stand before our Creator Yahweh God. It’s time to wake up from slumber and cry out to our God and repent [turn around] and say, “Save Us.”
But, this salvation is not going to come in the way many are clamoring for here in America. It will not come by Making America Great Again. America is imploding and I can’t see any help within the immediate future except one – Jesus The Christ. And to those trying to cling to this earth, to this nation, rather than clinging to Christ, I will ask them, “Who has bewitched you?" For indeed, if I were to vote in the upcoming election, though I’m still not sure there will be one, I would write in my vote for Him – Jesus The Christ! Maranatha! Even so, come LORD!

I am asking you to let me know because with all this news, I can’t help thinking of the bad news, something bigger than COVID, that is heading our way. Pick No. 2 – Welcome to the age of the machine, it is here! God foretold us there would be a time at the very end of the age when 2 Beasts rise up. The first rises from the sea meaning sea of people and nations. You can’t miss the distinct nations when comparing to the four beast that rise form the sea in Daniel 7 and their correlation to the statue dream of Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 3. The first beast incorporates the dragon and is the last world kingdom on earth before Jesus’ second coming. The second beast comes from the earth that I believe refers to a human as in an earthly vessel of flesh. Revelation 13 needs to be read carefully to understand. We must tie these prophecies to old testament prophecies to connect the dots you could say. Many have tried to spiritualize these beasts along with the mark of the beast mentioned later in the chapter. But when we look at prophecies that have already been fulfilled, we find that they may be given symbolically and have spiritual implications, but they also have all played out in the physical world we live. Revelation 13 is no different. Many could not understand how the beast and it’s mark could happen in reality; how would it be able to monitor it all in a real time sense. But today we no longer need to wonder. With AI, technology advancements, human gene editing and cloning advancements, we can see how this will actually take place in a physical sense. The age of the machine is here. The beast is among the nations and the powers [represented by the 10 horns on the first beast] are being aligned just right. The second beast, I believe is also at work though we do not know who he is. We see this system and its mark being developed in 3 man-made systems – healthcare, digitalized money system [including the start-up of the Universal Basic Income], and climate change [a new religion worshipping the created]. These 3 prongs will press the people of the world to make a decision. Stand for Christ Jesus and His kingdom or be swallowed up by the machine into transhumanism that will enslave rather than save them. For those who choose the machine, there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth for eternity. Don’t fall into the lie. COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT...
Are we the last generation? I believe we are according to scripture. And though we do not know the day nor hour, we are told we will know that season and the season is now. Let’s read what Jesus said in Matthew 24:32 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree. When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. (33) So likewise, when you see all these things, know that it is near – right at the door! (34) Truly I say to you that this generation will not pass away until all these things shall be fulfilled.” Jesus is talking about that generation that will see all these things align and unfold and be fulfilled. We are the generation, unlike previous generations, that are seeing all these things being set into motion. Friends, Jesus is at the door! Our redemption draws near and we who are faithing in Christ Jesus ought to be pressing into Him more and more. Preparing ourselves to stand firm in the truth and sharing the Gospel message with anyone as God opens these doors. And we ought to be expectantly looking up every day.
