Spoiler Alerts – Peek Into The Future:
As the saga of God’s prophetic Word is being realized in real time, we can take a peek into what’s next. We can peek into the future. Just as many popular shows and movies can be somewhat of a spoiler alert through what is known as predictive programming, so too, does God’s Word gives us His predictive words, i.e., “Spoiler Alerts”. And His Word is a more sure Word of what is to come.
How does God give us “Spoiler Alerts”? Prophecies plain and simple. These prophetic writings are given to us in our Bibles so that we can know what God has said about the future. This so that when it does start coming to pass in our reality, we won’t be caught off guard. He already knows the end from the beginning.
Now, it is true that we don’t know specific timings of these prophecies; however, we can see them forming around us quickly today. All of them. They are fulfilling what God has said just as God said – from both Old and New Testaments woven together beautifully and precisely.
Let’s go through just one passage that can be overlaid into Revelation. This passage is found in Matthew 24, where the disciples were asking Jesus what the sign of His coming would be. This is speaking of Jesus’ 2nd Coming at the end of the 7-year appointed tribulation and not to the ‘Appearing’ of Jesus to ‘Whoosh’ us up to Himself in the clouds. The ‘Whoosh” or “Rapture” is a separate event foretold us in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. So, with this in mind, let’s peek into the future.
Increase of deception, false Christs and false prophets (Matthew 24:4)
Wars and Rumors of War – But the end is not yet. (Matthew 24:6)
Increase of ethnic groups rising up against one another. (Matthew 24:7 [a])
Increase of tension between world governments [kingdoms]. (Matthew 7 [b])
Increase in famines, pestilences [such as viruses, disease, etc.]. (Matthew 7 [c])
Increase of great shakings [these are natural disasters not limited to earthquakes if you read from the original Greek rightly.] (Matthew 24:7 [d])
According to Jesus in Matthew 24 verse 8, all these are just the beginnings of birth pains as He relates them to a woman going into labor. And though I believe we have been experiencing some contractions for a while, these will increase in frequency and intensity.
Some might say, “Well, couldn’t these be just false labor pains? Couldn’t we be going into a great new awakening?”
I say, “Be not deceived.” For though many of these pains have been among us from the beginning, there have been many prophetic events and things missing from past generations that we now have. One is technologies that can actualize the end time prophecies given. Another, is the convergence of all end time signs coming together in real time now.
I do not consider the events of today, especially since 2020 with COVID, as Braxton Hicks contractions. COVID was just the jab needed to warp speed us forward to the end. Friends, we are experiencing the real deal – the true end of the age contractions that are only going to worsen and become more frequent, just as Jesus said they would.
This chart shows in a picture diagram of just how close we are to the “Appearing” of our Lord Jesus Christ. Again, this is found in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, where Jesus, the Lord Himself, will descend from heaven [not touching His feet to the earth, but appearing in the clouds] and will give a loud command with the voice of an Arch Angel, and with the Sound of the Trumpet of God [not an angel’s trumpet], and the dead in Christ shall rise first; and then we who are alive and remain at that appointed time will be “caught up” [whooshed or raptured] into the clouds to meet Him in the air. Think of this. Our bodies will be instantaneously transformed into an incorruptible body, leaving behind nothing but a pile of ash. The ash being those corruptible elements that no longer belong and have been burnt away in a twinkling of an eye.
However, I also believe that we who are true Christ followers need to be prepared to face what the Jews are facing now – persecution and hatred. For we see in the next verses further ‘spoiler alerts’ in Matthew 24:
Because of the name of Jesus, you will be persecuted, kill and hated by all nations [people of different cultures] (9).
Many will fall away and they will betray one another and will hate one another (10).
Many false prophets will rise up and will lead many astray (11).
Lawlessness will abound [increase] and the love of many will grow cold (12).
These all are happening now. Yet, we are told as we get closer to the end, these will increase to an extent that is unimaginable. What I see today is already unimaginable. But imagine it increasing to horrific proportions.
For example, this current war in Israel is spreading to the whole world with Jihad being proclaimed. An article recently showed a woman holding a sign that translated in English reads, “On Saturday, we murder the Jews; On Sunday, we murder the Christians.” And this is what many here within our borders are agreeing with. Whether they readily acknowledge it with boastful pride or are just blindly ignorant to the truth of what is actually being stated, they are agreeing to this type of sentiment.
These “spoiler alerts” happening now, I believe, could possibly be experienced more here within our borders of North America prior to the ‘Whoosh’. The only thing I am confident in, based on scripture, is that the ‘Whoosh’ must happen prior to the revealing of the Antichrist’s identity. And in my studies, I am uncertain he will be revealed at the signing of the “covenant with many” foretold to us in Daniel 9:27.
But I have no doubt that the Antichrist is alive and well and actively working with world leaders today. Which is why, more than ever, we who are in Christ, need to be ready; to be prepared and know the Truth. We need to draw closer to Jesus, who is the Truth, and trust in Him rather than any man, government or any other thing offered here on earth. Knowing and faithing in Christ Jesus will be essential to us in the coming days. And this faith comes by reading and hearing the Word of God. It’s time to open up the Book of all Books that God has given us all.
For after these things, we are told:
The Gospel of the Kingdom being proclaimed in the whole earth, for a testimony to all the nations [people groups]. Then the end will come (14). / I believe this will be fulfilled during the tribulation period where we are told in Revelation 7, an angel seals 144,000 from each of the tribes of Israel. These will become what some call ‘Super Evangelists’ during the 7-year tribulation coming. These 144,000 are not the ‘Church’. They are specifically denoted as coming from the tribes of Israel.
Jesus warns, specifically speaking to those living in Israel, “When you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ described by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place, let the reader understand.” (15) / This event seems to happen in the middle of the 7-year tribulation, when the Antichrist, that little horn that rises, sets himself up to be worshipped as a god in the temple.
Time does not permit me to go through the remaining outline Jesus gives us in Matthew 24, but may I encourage you to read it in full and cross reference it with those events that are also foretold us specifically in Daniel and Revelation.
In the meantime, watch, pray and be sober, for we know not what day or hour our Lord Jesus will ‘appear’ to catch us up to Himself prior to the worst events known to mankind since the beginning of the world. Nor do we know what day or hour our last breath or heartbeat will be taken from us. And though all paths may lead to God, only ONE leads INTO His Eternal Kingdom: Jesus Christ – The Way, The Truth, The Life, forever and ever. Amen.
Are you ready to meet Him? It is time to get ready! Prepare your hearts and minds and may the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Remember, we who are disciples of Christ have nothing to fear even in death, for “To live is Christ; To die gain” as we simply move from here to where He is for eternity. We see this in Philippians 1:20 – 22.

Genesis 3:15 God said to the ancient serpent of old, “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will crush your head, though you will strike His heel.” And so it was that this promised seed, Word of God, was planted by the Spirit of God into Mary’s womb. Jesus fulfilled all prophesies regarding the Messiah. This historical record can be read in Matthew 1-18 as well as in Luke. Now would be a great time to read this with your family and keep Him in your heart and mind every day!
